Just returned from the Birmingham UX meeting at DAXKO.
working on data conversion from one system to another. :(
Automated testing allows you to do crazy refactorings without fear.
Finally got to watch the inaugural speach. It had a more sober tone than expected.
The cycle helper method in rails is pretty nice. It cycles through a list of values to do things like alternating row colors in a table.
The croissants at Culinard Cafe are really great.

JavaScript sucks if you try to make it what its not, traditional OO. Let it be a dynamic prototype based functional language and it rocks.
Our TV is broken and life is so much better without it. If it was up to me, I think I would through it in the garbage. :)

Having an interesting discussion about duplicate document detection through triangulation.
I had my first pizza from Mello Mushroom. The mighty meaty is pretty good.
I switched to headphones without thinking…scrambled to lower volume…but was pleasantly surprised my eardrums were spared a blast.
Just noticed my mac has a different volume for speakers and headphones.
Griffin laptop stand looks great and puts the display at a nice height but pads are slippery so the computer inches forward like a glacier.

www.acunote.com is a nice agile project management tool based on the Scrum process.

“git stash” is really handy when you need to stop in the middle of a change and do something else.
Git add interactive mode is nice for staging or unstaging individual files. “git add -i”
